A study printed in the Journal of Body Work and Movement Therapies found that pregnant women who received massage from their partner twice weekly reported a decrease in leg pain, back pain, depression, anxiety and anger. The partners who gave the massages also reported a decrease in depression, anxiety and anger. The authors also found an improvement in the relationships between the pregnant women and their partners.
